AT LAST Villa

"Perfecto!!!!!!!! This, by far, was the most amazing vacation I ever had in my entire life. However, the experience would not have been possible without the staff. I was hard saying goodbye to the staff, I even became teary-eyed. It was my first time visiting Jamaica and just their presence makes me want to visit again and again. Any issue that may have taken place rather it be with booking activities to do or things around the house, they were able to solve EVERY issue with "NO PROBLEM." The house was beautiful at all times. Our children through a fit at the airport because of them not wanting to leave. My son fell in love with Chef. In the future, I will only book this vacation home, mainly because of the staff. Thanks again to them all!!!!!"

"From initial communication with the Taylor family to the management company, planning for pre-stock and other special requests, we had an amazing experience. We were 2 families celebrating two birthdays, one a 50th. We were able to have the villa decorated and arrange for a steel band our first night. When we arrived, we were greeted by Annette, the house manager, Chef Karilla, Rodrick the bartender/butler who also helped with a lot of other things, and Roy who took care of the pool/yard. It only got better from there. Annette helped coordinate things and was a constant presence but not intrusive at all. It was great to be able to talk to her whenever we needed and bounce things off of her, coordinate transportation, covid tests, laundry, etc. Chef Karilla was amazing - we planned our first two days' meals before arrival and also arranged for a pre-stocking. Once there, we worked through the menu and arranged the rest of the week. She was very accommodating, cooked the most delicious meals from standard bacon/egg breakfast to saltfish fritters, callaloo, oxtail, curry goat, jerk, etc, and surprised us with a different dessert every night! We mostly ate at the house except for when we were out for tours or at the beach. We budgeted the $50 per person per day, but were pleasantly surprised at coming in under that. Of course we did not do anything like lobster or steaks and did not go overboard with liquor - so keep that in mind - YMMV! :-) Rodrick made the best drinks and was very kind and attentive the whole trip. The kids constantly bugged him for pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris! It was nice waking up and finding hot coffee waiting at the bar every morning for us coffee lovers. Lastly, our driver for the week, Mr Baker, was also a big part of our experience. He took us everywhere, shared tons of history and info about Jamaica with us, facilitated tours/activities, took us to off-the-beaten-path places that are awesome but not on any published tour. We miss his stories and jokes and friendliness all-around. I'll finish by saying - the Taylor family and their staff are awesome and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Do your part/homework though - budget for food as suggested, and for transportation according to how much you expect to leave the house and take advantage of the pre-stocking. And be open/human - talk to the staff, be nice, they're there to help and make things memorable for you. I feel we have formed life-long memories and it is in large part because of them and the care/love/words they poured into our every interaction with them!
